Would you like to create a cozy cardigan with a no-fuss style. Winters Beach is worn open and is the perfect layering sweater - complete with pockets, of course. This sweater is knit from bottom up to the shoulders, then sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knit down. 

Sizes:  1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)

Chest: 39.5 (43.5, 47, 50.5, 54.5)(58.75, 62.25, 65.5, 69.75)”  Recommended ease is positive 6-10”

YARN  

Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy DK (100 g/250 yds/230 m) is what the pattern calls for.  West 7th has many options available.  1142 – 2151 yards required depending on the size you make

NEEDLES
Main Fabric: US 8/5 mm – 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm circular and preferred needles for small circum. knitting (Magic Loop or DPNs), plus a spare for the 3-needle bind off. 
Ribbing: US 6/4 mm - 32”/80 cm to 40”/100 cm circular and preferred needles for small circum. knitting (Magic Loop or DPNs)


NEEDLES GAUGE
19 sts & 28 rows = 4”/10 cm on Main Fabric needle. 
Measured over moss stitch knit flat, after blocking.
22 sts & 24 rnds = 4”/10 cm on Main Fabric needle. 
Measured over stockinette stitch in the round, after blocking.

HOMEWORK

Cast on 30 stitches and continue in moss stitch for 4 inches.  Block your swatch.  

Class policies: 
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044. 

Cancellations: 
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount. 

If there are less than 4 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee. 

Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
