Yoke Meditation Cardigan Class

Pattern: Yoke Meditation Series #2 by Zanete Knits (pattern may be purchased in advance on Ravelry or at the shop for an additional $9.00) 

This design is all about the yoke.  The deep running motifs are inspired by those seen on damask tapestry fabric. The large and intricate pattern repeat creates a striking look, and every row completed feels incredibly rewarding. The cardigan is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down with steek stitches added in the middle.  Pick your favorite colors and get in the zone!

Sport/DK weight, depending on the length of the cardigan

Main color: 1185 (1265, 1390, 1485, 1590, 1705, 1800, 1910) yds 

Contrast color: 305 (315, 350, 360, 360, 390, 435, 470) yds 

Gauge

 24 sts & 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch and colorwork in the round

Needles 

US 3 circulars 24” and/or double-pointed needles for small circumference knitting 

US 2 circulars 24” and/or double-pointed needles for small circumference knitting 

Notions 

Stitch markers, locking stitch markers, row counter, stitch holder, tapestry needle, 5-6 1” buttons, crochet hook 

Homework: Please come to the first class with a  4 inch by 4 inch swatch in your main color and larger needles. 

               
Class policies: 
Enrollment: Class is limited to 8 people unless approved by the instructor. Enrollment must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class to ensure there is a space for you. You can sign up in the store, online, or by phone (817)731-5044. 

Cancellations: 
If you need to cancel your class registration, you will be issued store credit for the class amount if you give us a week or more notice. If given less than a week and we can fill your spot in the knitting class, you will be issued store credit for the class amount. 

If there are less than 4 students in a class, the class may be cancelled one day prior and store credit will be issued for the class fee. 

Missed Classes:
Missed single classes cannot be made up or credited towards a future class.
